A little about me, and why I started Mully's
I'm Brian, the guy behind Mully's Mobile Golf. I grew up in the Capital Region, and sports have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've always loved the competition, the community around sports, and the way a game can bring people together.
Golf has become a big part of that for me. There's something about getting out with friends, competing, talking a little trash, and trying to hit that one shot you'll be talking about for the rest of the day. You don't have to be good at golf to love it. Coming from a 20 handicap, sometimes being terrible is half the fun.
Where I've been
My background is in sports and digital marketing, working with hospitality businesses and helping promote private and corporate events. I also worked at the New York Racing Association (NYRA) at Saratoga Race Course, where I got experience on the events side of things. Between that and my marketing career, I've spent years learning what makes an experience memorable and what gets people excited.
Eventually, I wanted to take what I'd learned and build something of my own. That's what led me here.
Why Mully's
I started Mully's Mobile Golf to combine two things I genuinely love: golf and bringing people together. Instead of asking people to come to a golf facility, I wanted to bring the experience to them.
Now I'm building a mobile golf simulator business right here in the Capital Region, bringing golf to weddings, parties, corporate events, fundraisers, and anywhere people are looking for something a little different.
I'm excited to build something in the area I grew up in, work with local businesses, and see where this thing goes. It's a big step, and I know it won't always be easy. But I'd rather take a chance on an idea I believe in than always wonder what would have happened if I tried.
If you see the Mully's setup at an event, come say hi. Take a few swings. Challenge your friends. And if you hit one into the woods, don't worry. There are no lost balls here.
